Ingrid's Up and Coming Art Exhibit in Monroe, Wisconsin

In response to the favorable reception of the installation of Ingrid's work in the permanent collection of the $88 million addition to the Monroe Clinic and Hospital, Ingrid was invited to exhibit her work at the Monroe Arts Center's Frehner Gallery on March 22 through May 3, 2013.  Her work in the permanent collection of the $88 million addition the Monroe Clinic and Hospital and the her subsequent one woman art exhibit there in June won favorable praise from the southwestern Wisconsin community.  There will be an artist's reception on Friday, March 22.

Monroe Art Center

The Monroe Arts Cent of Monroe, Wisconsin will be hosting an exhibition of photographer Pedro E. Guerrero's works of Frank Lloyd Wright and artist Ingrid Dohm's works in watercolor and acrylics.  Join us for featured selections of artwork from

Pedro Guerrero

began taking photography in 1939.  He became the chief visual interpreter of Frank Lloyd Wright twenty years later.  Many of his portraits of Wright are included in his new exhibition, “Pedro E. Guerrero: Photographs of Modern Life”, which was in the Woodbury University Hollywood Gallery in Los Andeles.

Ingrid Dohm

is a local artist from Rockford, IL.  She is a representational and impressionistic style painter.  Many of her works are watercolor and acrylics that are based on nature.  Dohm also likes to be able to add her own interpretation to her natural artwork by myriad shapes.

Watercolor Painting Workshop in June

Ingrid will be conducting a Watercolor Painting Workshop on June 9th and 10th, 2012 in Rockford, IL.  The venue is located at 839 North Perryville Road in the Whitehead Realtors Building.  The times are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m on Saturday the 9th and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.  All levels of experience  will be accommodated.  The enrollment is limited to six participants.  The fee for the workshop is $165. Spring Art Scene

Rockford artist Ingrid Dohm and Rockford photographer Paul Burkholder cordially invite you to celebrate the annual Spring Art Scene by viewing their recent works at Ingrid Dohm's Studio and Gallery, located at 839 N. Perryville Rd., Rockford, IL 61107, in the Whitehead Realtors Building.  The affair begins Friday, April 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. and resumes Saturday, April 14 from 3 to 9 p.m.  Pick up a map and visit some of the other 35 venues in the area.

Ingrid's work in Monroe Clinic's $83,000,000 Expansion

Ingrid's painting, Birch Trees,  an acrylic on canvas painting 36 x 36 inches, is included in the permanent collection of the Monroe Clinic's  $83,000,000 new addition unveiled at their open house celebration in Monroe, Wisconsin on Sunday March 18, 2012.  Several thousand visited the affair from noon to 5:00 p.m. that day.  The collection was curated by Integrated Art Group, LLC, an art consulting firm to the health industry.

Ingrid To Teach at Dillman's Creative Arts Foundation

Ingrid will be conducting a watercolor painting workshop, "Loose and Fresh Watercolor Florals",  at Dillman's Creative Arts Foundation in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin next year from June 9 to June 13, 2013.

Ingrid will be giving preview demonstrations for the workshops during Dillman's Mid Winter Festivals at the Addison Village Hall, Addison, Illinois from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 3 and at The Next Picture Show Gallery, Dixon, Illinois from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, March 5,  2012.

Freeport Art Museum Regional Juried Exhibition 8

Rockford IL On the Waterfront

Ingrid is preparing to go forth once again into the crowds at the On The Waterfront festival in Rockford, IL on Saturday, September 3rd to set up her easel for an "en plein air" painting session.  

She has been invited back for the sixth straight year to work her magic on canvas as her admiring public looks on.

Ingrid's art in the permanent collection of the Austrian Embassy Washington, D.C.

While giving a private art showing of her works at the Austrian Ambassador's Residence and the Austrian Embassy in Washington, D.C. in June, Ingrid donated a painting for permanent display in the foyer of the Embassy.  The painting, 40 x 40 inches, depicts the Rockford Midway Village's Bike Path and was graciosly accepted by the Ambassador for their permanent collection.

Return from Cape Cod

Ingrid has returned home from a three week hiatus in the East coast.  After visiting her three children and four grandchildren in West Hartford, CT and Washington, D.C. she vacationed and took in the sites of beautiful Cape Cod in a beach house overlooking the waters.  After seeing the natural beauty of the Cape she couldn't resist painting the scene.
